And then another amazing defensive play. This time by Scott Rolen.

1-1 the bullpen lets the lead and Dice K's win go to the wayside.

Jays take the last game of the series 3-0. Wait.... after the final out of the game the 2nd base umpire called a balk and the Sox are still alive with Brandon Moss moving to 2B on the balk. John Gibbons get thrown out of the game. Game is still 3-0 Jays. If it ends that way the Sox still will have won two out of three games in the series. Coco gets a hit after he seemed to make the last out before the balk. Now it is 1st and third with Jed Lowrie up . Tying run at the plate. It would be amazing if the Sox win this one after the final out was called. Coco to 2b on defensive indifference. Lowrie strikes out to really end the game this time.

    3-0 Jays.

    Jays, Rays and Automobiles

I must admit that I’m finally hitting my stride with the Red Sox. The hangover from the Super Bowl loss has faded, the general disgust of the inept Bruins is gone, I’m still riding with the Celtics; but it’s May — the April rust has fallen off and I’m starting to overreact to games. Bottom line, I’m in mid season form.
