9. Robinson Cano 2B .263

What the Yankees need to do: They need to jump out to an early lead. Not like last night, starting out slow then picking it up, we need to jump out and hold the lead. Our bats need to continue to be hot, we will ned help from the bottom of our lineup. From Cano (helped out a bunch last night) Bernie and Posada. Pavano needs to pitch good and hold the struggling Red Sox to only 2 or 3 runs.

What the Red Sox need to do: HIT THE BALL! They are not hitting the ball good at all (except Varitek did jack one ) But Manny is like 1-25 or something like that. Him and Ortiz are not playing they did in the Postseason. Clement needs to pitch like he is 5-0.

X-Factors: Yankees: Robinson Cano: We need Cano and his bat, like last night. Hitting a crucial Home Run that we needed. We can not afford the little mental errors he made at second last night to allow Damon to get on and steal a base. We will need Cano's help to beat the Sox tonight.

X-Factors: Red Sox: Manny Ramirez: He needs to start hitting the ball. He is not getting a hold of the ball like he used to. I do not see the Sox beating us in this series if his bat does not get hot. That .224 batting average is not going to past us red hot Yankees.

Yankees Win: 5-3 We will improve to 28-21 Boston will fall to 25-23.
