Good Luck in the series. This one rivalry that never olds for me.

My prediction is Yankees take 2 out 3. Game 1 and 3.

At this rate, the Yankees will sweep. The Sox are as cold as Toronto in January.

I think we might steal the 2nd game. Clement is pitching pretty good. Our bats need to really come alive and our bullpen better step up.

Clement is our best chance by far.

    Couple game notes:
-Olerud has been called up. He may get a start this weekend for Millar in the right situation, not v. Johnson
-Wooten and Gonzalez have been sent down/DfA while Shoppach and the mentioned Olerud were called up (Gonzalez should come back up when the Sox need another pitcher)
-Foulke went to Alabama for what he calls a barbeque, what the Sox calling fixing his mechanics.
-Payton will start v. RJ tonight.

Olerud was a big addition to the Yanks late last year. I still believe that if Olerud didn;t go down in the ALCS, the Yanks would have won. He was on fire that series. Do you guys think Millar will be traded and let Olerud and Youkilis split time at first?

I agree, that if Olerud was healthy, Sox fans could be looking at Year #87 without a title. The difference between him and Clark was notable in that series.

Millar could be traded, last year of his deal IIRC and we have some competent 1B ready to play (Youky, Millar, of if necessary, Ortiz)

How bad is the Sox 3rd base coach? That was the most pathetic thing I think I've ever seen. Damon and Bellhorn were both thrown out by a good 10 feet. Way to screw your team over. Are they paying this guy?

2 run shot by Cano. 3-3 now.

You mean Dale Sveum? He's pretty damn bad, Send 'em in Sveum

Well my night went to hell, hows everyone elses. How many guys did we leave on base? Wakefield couldnt seem to throw a strike to save his life, and has Shef's HR landed yet? Great way to start the weekend.

I felt bad for the poor ump who took a foul ball to the arm..hope he's alright. Stayed in the game though.

Yah no kidding. That look like it hurt really really really bad, did you see the picture of his arm? It was huge even right after that and then he got a shin guard and put it on him arm. That's what I would have done, lol.

Hardcore dude. Hope he feels better.

I'm not emotional or anything, but I felt really bad for the poor guy.
