Re: Devil Rays @ Red Sox

In other news, Scott Kazmir has demanded a trade. Location? Anywhere. Anywhere at all. New York. Boston. Kansas City. Mars. The Dwarf Formerly Known As Pluto. Anywhere

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

I wouldn't mind adding Kazmir into the rotation.

Quite a game last night, eh? Lester brought his A game, as did Kazmir. Looks like all but a sure sweep with Matsuzaka going up against the 6+ ERA Sonnanstine today.

Looks like I was a little off on my prediction. Matsuzaka did not have a good game at all giving up 6 runs through 6 innings. Sonnanstine was a surprise giving up just 2 runs through 6.2. The Sox have a 2-out rally going so they still got a chance.

Manny goes down swinging on a igh fastball. Good battle there though to add to the excitement. The sweep didn't happen, but the Sox still won the series 2-1. Great series there.

Looked like Manny was just pressing there. It wasn't a very good pitch for him to swing at, neither was the outside changeup he fouled off the pitch before. He had two fastballs that he just missed the timing on, but was swinging hard at and ended up fouling them back. Too bad he didn't get ahold of one of them.

Whatever I'm so happy he didn't get one. He was just swinging for the fences, a base hit gets a run. Lugo was on second, Manny should have just punched him in.

Agreed, I think he was trying to do too much there.
