The Sox are getting by

Admittedly, the Sox are getting by only on the skin of their teeth lately, but they've won four of their last six with injuries taking our their top two starting pitchers, and some slumping hitters and a shaky pen. I'm really enjoying their pace their really recent pace and I'm hoping they keep the win-loss thing up.

They are still behind the O's by a notable amount of games, but with the Yankees unlucky streak (they aren't as bad as their record so far, still under .500 caliber, but not 5 games under), they need to go on a streak to catch up to the two surprises and distance themselves from the Evil Empire.

Sir Bronson Arroyo, NH into the 7th, 1 run, 8 IP. Great, great game. Hasn't lost since August and the Sox are 14-1 in his last 15 starts IIRC.
