Sox win oh so barely

Well, the offense has gone into a bit of a freeze. Papi and WILY MO PENA both had two run homers, and they were on fire in the first two innings. Then Escobar absolutely mowed them down for six shutout innings.

Lester gave up 3 ER in 5 IP. Tavarez didn't have any luck on two potential DPs, both of which only got one out. So he gave up a run. Timlin loaded the bases but got out of a BL one out jam. Foulke came in with an out, dinky single by Figgins, Figgins steals second (on Javy Lopez...) and Foulke gets the next guy out. Paps shut the door the rest of the way.

Everyone else won too, but they got off the schneid, or however it's spelled

Temporarily, maybe your Sox should move Youkolis (sp) to LF and Ortiz to 1B and DH Manny for a few games. This will not take his bat out of the lineup this way, and gives Manny a little rest at least.. Just a thought for Sox fans....
