    Buster Olney says...

    that David Wells has been cleared through waivers. After his pitching performance today, I'd say he would be a keeper. Thoughts?

    I'd say he probably would pass through waivers. At this point if a contending team wants him and is willing to give up a prospect or two, I would say the Sox should let him go. Because after the 5 game annihilation at the hands of the Yankees, the Red Sox are DONE!!!!! Oh well, there's always next year.
