Red Sox Clement: good news or bad news?

    http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2509444

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Boston's Matt Clement cut short his first minor league rehabilitation start after one inning Tuesday after hurting his right biceps.

The outing with the Gulf Coast League Red Sox was Clement's first since he went on the 15-day disabled list June 16 with a right shoulder strain.

"He did go back out for the second inning and on the second warm-up pitch he walked off the mound," Red Sox manager Terry Francona said Tuesday before a 9-6 loss at Tampa Bay. "He felt some biceps soreness, so we immediately shut him down."
So how do you guys feel about this? It's not like he's really pitched well in about a year going back to just before the ASG last year...

Sorry, I was thinking of Wade Miller, you're correct.

Well, he's a mental wreck, he's been a wasteland since he got hit in the head, and he's an overpaid bad signing by Epstein.

And he's still a lot better than Jason Johnson.

that's not really saying much...the Providence Grays had the good sense to cut Johnson, when will the Red Sox?

Things that happened during a Jason Johnson Game (today):

A straight steal of home (Carl Crawford)
A catwalk taking away a Youkilis HR and making it an out due to hideous ground rules (Catwalk)
A player flipping off an ump supposedly (my Diamond Daily pick, Jonny Gomes)

care to elaborate? Exactly what happened and where?

This is in Tampa. I didn't see it, but from the reports, Youkilis hit an absolute shot, but it hit one of the catwalks in Tampa's stadium and fall into Carl Crawford's glove for an out.

That's why I hate domes and don't think baseball should be played in them. Domes keep taking away hme runs (Ortiz, Youkilis). The only problem is that Tropicana Field is in Florida and they get pounded by hurricanes there so... They should just raise the roof another 100 feet or so, then anything that hits the catwalks should just be called a home run.

    Matt Clement > Jason Johnson

    ?? Or maybe...

    Matt Clement = Jason Johnson

At least Jason Johnson isn't a complete mental wreck and doesn't constantly think about the ball possibly hitting him in the head.
