it took gathright getting thrown out at the plate in the 9th to hold off the devil dogs 5 - 4...bullpen nearly imploded

Hell, they did implode. Willie Harris had the best throw to home for the Sox in the 9th. Well, that's what happens when Pap and Foulke are given the day off for rest and Timlin hits the DL.
