Who had May 18th in the pool?

Well, the Orioles FINALLY won a game (I think 13-straight losses) against the Sox, after several years of being the thorn in the Sox side. Bedard was great, and in spite of a Papi homer, Ray shut the door.

Also, whoever had May 17th in the "Boston Media Sucks" pool also wins. Look at this clip

Josh Beckett became upset Tuesday because members of the Boston media did not believe him that he doesn't have a blister on his finger.
"I don’t have (an expletive) blister," Beckett said. "Look at my (expletive) finger. I’m pissed. I really am. This is (expletive) stupid. My dad calls me. He thinks I’m lying to him. That’s it. I’m done talking to you guys for the year."

That didn't take long. Of course, the media made a big brouhaha over the trainer looking at his finger.

He's lying though. There might not be a blister, but there's something wrong, or else he wouldn't have had it examined, obviously. Probably a blister.
