    4/17/06: Seattle (6-7) at Boston (8-4)

Hey guys, it's a morning game on the fake Massachusetts holiday, the excuse to drink in the morning, PATRIOTS DAY. Meaning we got an 11:05 AM EST game against the Mariners. And I get to miss it all to be in school.

    Mariners Pitcher
    Gil Meche (1-0, 6.75 ERA)

    Red Sox Pitcher
Lenny Dinardo (0-0, 3.38 ERA) (First start of 2005)

it's school vacation week for me...it's early cause of the marathon...I made the mistake of going to a game on Patriot's Day once...Tim Raines hit 3 homers for the White Sox and Frank Thomas hit one, too.

That sucks, I got class at 11:30. Oh well, I'll catch the end of it.

Yeah, big day in Boston. People puke their guts out running 26.2 miles, people scream their brains out in a good (during the game) and bad (before/after) the Sox game, and the rest of the people dull their brains down with some delicious alcohol, or so they say

Not sure what you are refering to?

If it was the Youk call I thought he was clearly safe.

All I heard was that the Youk call was questionable.

It was a great play by Lopez, he dove and quickly made the throw, but I think Youk had it beat, it was a tie, at worst.

Great game for Loretta getting his first homer in a Boston uniform. He is a nice pick up.

Agreed. He really came up big for us today.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

Sounded like a good game. Too bad no one on the west coast saw it.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
