Yeah, that sucked. Wake was good, we had baserunners, but none of them ever crossed the plate in spite of the chances. Oh well.

The turning point was in the 2nd inning when the bases were loaded and nobody out, and Joel got out of it unscathed.

Good game for Piniero and to miss oppurtunities with runners in scoring position is a sin... May I recommend all of the Red Sox batters attend church on Easter Sunday.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

How about JJ Putz "it up into the stands" struck out the side? What is up with that?

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

Where has our high powered offense gone ...the pitching is there so far.

  10. #10
Well, Manny's slumping, Gonzalez has always sucked, Crisp is hurt, etc. The offense should come around

Renteria is tearing it up I hear

I'll take Crisp/Gonzalez over Renteria/Stern starting on a daily basis

Jojhima has another passed ball, Loretta to second. It'd be great if the Sox ook advantage of any of this, but...a hit by Manny off of Beltre's glove, it was a legitimate hit and a great play by Beltre to stop it. If that gets by, Loretta scores.
