I mean, with all of the crap his father brings to the table that makes most fans (myself included) prefer to not to have to deal with most were ready to write him off before the draft even started. It creates an itchy trigger finger for those wanting him to bust...which just makes it that much worse for Lonzo.

Granted, thus far even his on court performance hasn't been overwhelming (to say the least) but again, half season into their careers. Let's give a year or two before we start pointing fingers at them about how they got someone at pick 2 who should have been pick 27 and someone at pick 27 who should have been 2nd or 3rd.

Lonzo was doing pretty well before his injury. I think he's gonna be fine. Rookies are up and down. It's typical. If there was no Lavar, we'd be completely on the 76ers and their Fultz Steve sax Syndrome Drama lol

Hindsight's 20/20. If I had to choose again, I would take Tatum or Mitchell, but I don't think anybody had Mitchell as a top 10 pick and for all their team success, Louisville wasn't exactly known for producing NBA superstars.

Good thing the Knicks didn't draft Mitchell. Phil's last act would have been trading Mitchell to China for a new meditation book and a pair of Marbury shoes.

i would make a joke about us pissing away the pick anyway, but im strangely not upset with ntilikina. its odd to watch somebody play perimeter defense with heart and passion. of course the kids jumpshot is an absolute mess, but im not as against the pick as you would think, with guys like mitchell and smith looking like studs.

and in an absolute shocking moment... the all star game was pretty entertaining for once. they mixed in enough defense and effort to not make it a total travesty.

I don't think I would have guessed Jarrett Jack being still a thing in the NBA in 2018

i actually like hornacek. but him still giving jack 20+ minutes a night, and his usage of ron baker before he got hurt, were absolutely infuriating. we're officially in full tank mode... go to small ball and play mudiay and ntilikina 30+ minutes a night, sprinkle in burke for foul trouble and spells early in the 2nd and 3rd. assuming youre playing mudiay and ntilikina with some combo of hardaway, lee and beasley, theres enough offense on the floor that mudiay and ntilikinas broken jumpshots shouldnt be too detrimental. and fuck it, who cares even if it is?

i didnt hate him early in the year, when there was still some type of playoff hope... hes absolutely useless to this roster now. buy him out, let him go play 10th man minutes for a secondary contender... a wizards, bucks type of team, that might be able to squeak out a first round win, and then gets destroyed by one of the actual good teams in the east.

Celtics are done. Lebron's annual trip to the Finals just got easier. We all know Toronto will choke as usual.

In the aftermath of left knee surgery, Boston Celtics All-Star guard Kyrie Irving will miss the rest of the regular season and playoffs, league sources told ESPN.

not only did jack get PT, he was actually in the rotation unlike willy...what a sad turn of events, the lone good thing the hornets did (ok, drafting kemba was good)
