the current suns, or the suns of old with matrix and amare with knees? i dont see the current raptors [derozan, bargnani, davis, the johnsons and ross] being all that worse than the castoffs the suns have [hill, gortat, frye, dudley, the lesser morris and lopez brother]. i guess id rather have the suns by a little, but if valanciunas is any good, that could change quickly.

Bargnani is always hurt and is atrocious defensively and at rebounding. I don't care if he can shoots. He's junk and one of the worst #1 picks ever. Derozan can't shoot, James Johnson can't shoot..that doesn't help Nash one bit. Ross will probably be good, he could easily become Joe Johnson-esque if he was along side Nash. Amir Johnson has his moments, but has zero offensive ability. Ed Davis, also zero offensive ability. Linus Kleiza seems like that typical bench shooter Nash always had. Quincy Acy, zero offensive ability.

Not a good team. Not saying the suns were a good one either, but they had shooters and an all-star caliber center in Gortat. If they just hadn't spent all that money on Warrick, Childress, and resigning Frye....admittedly, I was dead wrong on Childress. Good shooter for Atlanta, but forgot to come back over the NBA when he was overseas.

I'd rather Nash go to New York somehow, Miami somehow, ummmmm. Dallas. Whatever. At the very least, a team with playoff potential, if not title potential.
