I like that most of the dude's highlights were of him shooting over a guy that looked strangely like Josh Childress.

TRoss is a very streaky shooter. but when he's on he can light up the three like Novak.

    Wroten is Westbrook light.

rumors galore that the trailblazers have offered roy hibbert a max deal. they can offer 4 years, indiana can offer 5, but indiana has yet to offer the max deal [indiana also can match portland's deal]. fun times ahead.

and 4 yrs, 40 mil for gerald wallace from the nets. not sure they have anything else worth luring dwight to brooklyn though, so good luck with that one. i doubt greatly that brook lopez, marshon brooks, a shit load of 1st round picks, and the illustrious anthony morrow get it done.

Re: 2012 NBA Playoff and Draft Talk

Maybe they'll wait a year. Nets are after Joe Johnson. If I am the hawks, dump him in a heart beat.

I have been wondering. Who is the last team to have an elite PG, an elite C, and mostly ehhhh or question marks everywhere else in NBA history? I know LA had the C and SG, and PG didn't matter too much in the triangle. In NBA2K12, I put Deron and Dwight on the rockets, and surrounded them with what I could afford, so mostly rookies, young guys, and lower rated vets although, hilarious enough, Biyombo was the PF so the interior D was absurd. They went to the finals the first year and lost to the Heat, and in the next 4 seasons I simmed, they never got past round 2.

    Means nothing obviously.

Would Hardaway still have been considered elite at that point? I guess it would depend on the PG crop during 96-97 and 97-98. I'm gonna go look at this.

All-star PGs: Stockton, Payton, Tim Hardaway, Terrell Brandon, and..do we count Penny? A lot of exceptional ball handling forwards and guards in Hill, MJ, Webber, KG, Pippen, Schrempf, Jones.

Gugliotta and Gatling were allstars in 96-97. AHAHA. OH god I forgot about Chris Gatling. Other PG of note then, Damon Stoudemire, Rod Strickland, Mark Jackson, Mookie Blaylock...hm.

    I'd say elite enough.

at some point in there, timmy led the league in points and assists... dont remember which year it was though. they also had pj brown on that team, and he was on the all defensive teams a couple times... but id guess timmy and zo are the closest we'd come. good call mofo.

Re: 2012 NBA Playoff and Draft Talk

    Stiemsmelo may not happen, Hammer.

The Timberwolves are reportedly looking at Celtics' big man Greg Stiemsma to solidify their frontcourt depth.
Jessica Camerato reports that the restricted free agent will meet with Minnesota today, per his agent.
The Wolves are also rumored to be in trade talks with Pau Gasol, where they'd likely have to include second-year forward Derrick Williams and possibly emerging center Nikola Pekovic in any such deal. Trade or no trade, the Wolves need more size in the interior and that's one thing Stiemsma can offer.

    Stiemspeker instead?
