Nene/Anderson/Mozgov
Martin/Faried
Gallo/Chandler/Harrington/Forbes
Afflalo/Hamilton
Lawson/Miller
Harrington a FA? Cause they really don't need him. Deep as Hell team. No superstars, but guys that could explode any given night (Lawson, Gallo, Afflalo, Chandler) and young wild cards.
Re: 2010-2011 NBA Season and Playoffs Thread
nah harringtons contract is pretty shitty, im pretty sure hes around another 3-4 years. another guy that can hit shots in waves... and miss them equally wavy.
Re: 2010-2011 NBA Season and Playoffs Thread
Bound to have hitmen in Denver that could eliminate him. Does he still have a shoe deal with K-Mart? (the store, not Kenyon)
Re: 2010-2011 NBA Season and Playoffs Thread
man i hope so. but when they dropped to 2 pairs for 10 bucks after like 2 months in stores... i doubt they continued with that one. alas, i think the lockout is gonna end contracts like al, and travis outlaw, and the suns paying hakim warrick, channing frye and somebody else nearly as much as amare. a sad day for the mediocre.
Re: 2010-2011 NBA Season and Playoffs Thread
Josh Childress.
In Childress' defense, he was a good 6th man before he went to Europe (good shooter). The suns just have 10 guys that have his same skill set. But none that have his hair. He should've come cheaper, but Phoenix.. I don't know man. I can live with just the Frye contract but Warrick wasn't necessary and they already have Childress, only his name is Jared Dudley.

The Pau Gasol trade is looking better and better.

Bill Simmons and Jonathan Abrams determine which contracts should be paid for and forgotten - Grantland
who knows if that first paragraph or two is actually true as of now... but this could be really damned interesting for some teams... i doubt the players who would be used here [like the great al harrington mentioned about 6 posts up] would be really mad to get their remaining contract in one lump sum, so they can go home and smoke weed.
Re: 2010-2011 NBA Season and Playoffs Thread
"Simmons: The Knicks have 10 players under contract for $62 million right now. That's pushing them over the cap no matter where it ends up. If there's a hard cap, I see them dealing Billups for someone making less money, using the amnesty on Turiaf, then creating enough cap space to sign a third close-to-marquee guy … or, knowing them, it would be Jared Jeffries for $50 million."
by the way... completely on point. it would only be fitting.
