At this point, anything is an improvement. Showalter will come off looking like a genius even with the slightest of turnarounds.

Buck is 3-0 becoming the first manager to do so with such a shitty team. Plus he made a new best friend in Luke Scott. Congrats!

    Manager of the Year!
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

4-0 now for Buck. Will Buck manage the O's for a couple of years, be fired and the O's start a playoff run? Seems to be the trend.

7-1 O's having some fun and its interesting that the O's have the most walkoff wins this year. I was shocked when i read that.

Would it be fair to say that Baltimore actually had some talent, they just needed someone to drive the players and make the game worthwhile again?

I guess 8 games is too small of a sample size, but you don't see the team slouching and physically begging for pity with their body language anymore.

I think Buck coming in and telling the guys this is a tryout for next year has been a real factor. This year was a huge let down in my mind. Sure they were going to finish last but not be this bad. Roberts being injured hurt them a lot I know but Buck seems to have gotten through to this guy. Plus he seems to have a good sense of humor, makes it a lot easier to relax and just play.

I've been watching the O's for forty years and I've rarely seen them look this bad or lately, this good. Three in a row against Angels. Give the man props.

Since Buck has taken over, the Orioles have the best record of any other AL East team

I'd really like to see the O's get competitive. Buck has a way of turning things around for franchises.

Actually the Orioles have some good players like Markakis, Wieters, Jones, Roberts and have some young talented pitching. I hope they can turn things around with Buck because I am sick of seeing the Yankees and Red Sox on top of the division all the time.

Only because of some devastating injuries.

    The Rays are pretty good.

Still, they'd definitely be in the mix.
