Adam Jones is without a doubt the real deal. He could have been a .300 25 HomeRun caliber player this year except he was cut short with injury. He is going to be great.

I love this young team. Granted, they still need arms yet I am excited about Tillman and Matusz. This team has the potential to be extraordinary offensively if they old on to this young talent. And Jones is right in the middle of all of it.

Jones is off to a MVP-type start to the 2012 season. He is currently hitting .307/.351/.602 with 14 HR, 29 RBI and 6 SB. He still needs to draw walks but he's playing like a 26 year old who wants to be locked up and paid!
