    Orioles @ Yankees

I can't believe the O's fans here haven't talked about this yet. Maybe it's too early, idk, but how about the O's shutting out the red hot Yankees 12-0 last night? Talking about destroying a team, the Yankees only managed two hits off the Oriole pitching staff, Cabrera pitched 6.2 scoreless, Huff hit a grand slam and drove five, and Millar also homered on scored 4 runs of his own.

With Bedard going for Baltimore today it looks like they might take the series 2-1 from the Yanks, although Phil Hughes pitched very well his last time out giving up just 1 run through 6 innings.

Ya I'm pretty suprised no one has posted on this yet either but I have to give props to the Orioles. They really shut down the hot bats,oh well they Yankees can't win every game they have to lose every once in awhile. We'll pick up the win today.

Not the way the bats are swinging against Bedard. I was hoping Phil could match him.

Looks like the Yanks might get shutout on consecutive games. I doubt that will be the case, but right now Bedard is pitching great. Just 4 hits through 6 with 7 K's.

Congrats on the series win. This very easily could have been a sweep for you guys.

I don't believe this! We lost to the mighty Orioles, of all teams.

The O's are like the most inconsistent team in the Majors. They play like a Super Bowl (or World Series) team against the Yankees, but they lose to crappy teams.

Man WTF! Torre, you suck, you should have brung Joba Chamberlain!

C'mon now, how can you fault Torre for bringing in Mariano Rivera?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Because Joba Chamberlain was ready to strike out the birdies side.

Plus, didn't Rivera get a Blown-Save on Monday?

You need to give credit where credit is due. The O's, while wildly inconsistent and overall not a great team, are capable of playing really good ball. We took 2 of 3 from the Sox for you over the weekend, then did the same to you guys at the Stadium.
