O's send Parrish to the M's

The Orioles have acquired Minor League OF Sebastien Boucher from the Mariners for LHP John Parrish.
No longer and O, but will proclaim his fame playing for another letter.

Hoey and Redman called up. I think this move is nothing for nothing really. The O's have to be happy in ridding themselves of Parrish and get a guy who could be a 5th outfielder in return.

Looks like an addition by subtraction type move.

It's about time. Parish has some NASTY stuff, but hasn't learned to throw the ball over the plate in his 7-8 years of playing pro baseball. Finally Hoey gets a real shot.

Yeah, I want to see Hoey get a stable positon on this roster. Lets see what he can do when given a real opportunity.

Parrish will probably get a look in Tacoma first before being called up I think.

You excited about this deal at all Porter? Or am I right in my assessment that it is basically a nothing for nothing type deal.

I guess you can never have too much pitching. Especially when your team is in the hunt for October!!

I for one am glad that got rid of this guy. He could never find the plate and when he did he let up the long ball or at least it seemed that way.

Matt Riley was another gas throwing lefty who didn't pan out. Geez, the organization might want to check who's poisoning these kids' water in the minors.

    Not excited at all.

But hey, leading the wild card, can't complain.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
