The Yankees and Red Sox are both rumored to be going after Burnett, and with Schilling closing now, it makes more sense. I don't think the O's will pull it off unless they are able to lock up Burnett for 3 or 4 years. I am also concerned about giving away Larry Bigbie, perhaps I am being a homer, but I think Larry can develop into an all star caliber player, and I don't want another Steve Finley situation where we get totally screwed and I have to ***** about it for 15 years. Jorge Julio, I'd give him away for a pack bubble gum.
