    8/15 to 8/17: Orioles v. Yankees

Red Sox fans are hoping that the scuffling O's bullpen are able to rebound in a series against division leading New York.

The Orioles will send three of their more reliable starting pitchers to the mound in a series that looks to be pretty even on paper, pitching wise.

The first game looks to be the best, as O's ace Erik Bedard takes the hill against New York's go-to guy in Mike Mussina (fomrer Oriole).

The second game is less impressive, with young Adam Loewen making a tough start in NY against Cory Lidle.

The culminating game places a disappointing Rodrigo Lopez on the hill against Jaret Wright, who has been surprisingly capable this year.

Prediction: Yankees take two of three.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

They split the first two. They lost the first game 6-3. But bounced back with an impressive start by young Adam Loewen, along with some clutch work from the relief corps for a 3-2 win. The Yankees lead is down to two games with a five game series coming up after tonight with the Red Sox: the Orioles can bring that to 2.5 or 1.5
