Forum question.

Really just wondering if there were ever plans to make a College Sports forum. I know all of the pro forums have little sub forums for college discussion, but I'd figure if you had one forum dedicated to all of college sports, it would draw a lot of interest. Especially as you edge towards bowl games, march madness, the final four on ice, college world series, etc. etc.

Unless there is already a forum, then.. um, ignore me.

I really don't know Zito. Basically I am just involved from an admin standpoint here. But I suppose it's something that Meck might consider in the future although for now the focus is on getting all three forums we have right now, up and running.

The 3 being this one, The NFL Forums, and The NBA Forums? The NBA one really needs a lot of work.

I have my influence but that decision would be left up to the ownership. I am basically just here to focus on S3F.

Yep. As for The NBA Forums, I know Lynch has a full plate but he's working hard on getting that site ready for the season.

This is the best site of the three. Well, NBA is a given but I like this side better than the NFL side. I really dig the interface and graphics on this site. And some of the fanbases on this site are much more developed here than they are on the NFL side. Sure, you have the massive Reds fan base but even on the Braves board, I can log in after a game and there will be a discussion with General, I, and at least one or two non-Braves fans. That's what I like about this site, JMO.

The per capita asshole rate in the NFL forum is sickly. A couple here and there is fantastic, but over there it's overwhelming.

I also like here the best out of the 3. I've only been on the NFL side for a week so far and for a place with twice as many users as us, they seem to have more empty team forums for some reason. I just hate watching basketball period, so I won't even go over there...

It's 3 seperate boards representing 3 different sports. Somewhere they mesh together. That's the beauty of it. Feedback is always encouraged at any of the sites.

Ziton if there is enough demand for a college forum alteast initially from the tri-board memberhship base then we could put together a college board. I admit we still have alot of upgrades to get done on the NFL side before we even consider any future expansion.

BTW...we're planning the first annual party somewhere in the US in the near future. It's in the annoucement forum at nfl board. I know people overlap so I just thought I'd mention it. All are welcome. There seems to be a Vegas gathering brewing or maybe Canton or.......

I always find it interesting when I look at the Yankees depth chart and I see:

Always gets a chuckle out of me.
