    Birthday

    Is there a way to configure vBulletin NOT to display the birthday of the users? I know people (like me ) will give fake information during registration, but for those that are honest enough to give their real information, I don't know if they want to volunteer it for public display.

    There is. But I really haven't heard anyone complain about it. Most people seem to like the happy birthday threads and what not.

    most people express their ages in various threads as well. Actually, I am pretty sure you don't even have to give a birthdate if I am correct.

    I'm not a fan of the birthday being displayed either. When I registered it wouldn't let me without putting in a date and it wouldn't let me leave it blank either. Even now I can't entirely delete the date, so I entered a fake date....

    You can hide the year by not typing it, but have to have the month and date.
