    I have returned

got in last night, too tired to post anything, i hate crowded air plane flights

as for the game i seen, **** the yankees, why do the jays lose big when i go to watch but win the the 2 games i don't get a chance to see, although i kind of knew it was going to happen after seeing who was pitching on those dates. I just had to get the game where Mark ****ing Rzepczynski was pitching and missed Morrow and Cecil

I'll post pics after a break

    Re: I have returned

    Welcome back man!

Sorry to hear you didn't get to see a win, but at least you did get to see a game. I usually have pretty bad luck myself with the games I choose to attend, so it does happen. But blowouts (on either side really) are boring to see.

Was the rest of the trip good?

    Re: I have returned

even with the loss I had a good time at the park, picked up a t-shirt with Alomar #12 on the back with the early 90's team look which I still say the blue jays look the best in and should have kept

the rest of the trip was good too but really no time for myself whatsoever with visits out of Toronto to relatives, family friends and, attractions

That's why I chose 2 games when I booked my trip to Milwaukee. It gave me twice the chance at seeing a Padres victory.

And it turned out to be necessary as well because they had to go and lose the first one.

1st day in Toronto, picture of The Score studio, the number 3 sports station in Canada

from a boat tour that we took in Toronto on the 2nd day

a couple of pictures of the Niagara Falls, from another boat tour called Maid of the Mist, I had to crop the 1st one, I caught someone's head, I have others but they didn't turn out so well

    pre-game shots

This was my view I had to deal with at the game

John Buck coming to plate, shot of the big screen

right before the jays get a late rally

Casey Janssen pitching a fine relief spot

Getting ready for the bottom of the 6th inning I think

    Re: I have returned

That's awesome. Sounds pretty similar to a trip we did probably 6 or 7 years ago (but no Jays game since they were away.)

Did you get to go to the Hockey Hall of Fame too?

    Re: I have returned

not this year but we did in 2007, it was awesome to see, 2nd time I went there, 1st time was like 17 years ago

a good story about the 2007 visit, I was there with my dad and two nieces, as we were going though the Hall of Fame, we saw a section for Canadian University/College hockey, which my dad played as a defensemen for years, they had a team picture of McMaster University for the very 1st National Championship that was won in 1963, my dad was apart of that team and in that very same picture.

He didn't even know the picture was in the Hall of Fame, it came as a big surprise that my dad is apart of the Hockey Hall of Fame

and to continue, my dad went to the University of Alberta to win another two championships in '64 and '68, there's no real proof of this but an old coach of his i believe told my dad that he's the only person to win that championship in two different schools

Ha, that's cool man. Lucky you getting instruction from a guy like your dad, that must have been nice.

Nice pics, sorry they didn't win for ya. I have been pretty lucky, the Rays have never lost when I have seen a road game.
