I'm all for showing who gave what rep. I'd love to find out the person who try to hide and give me these stupid a$$ messages for no reason.

I have only used the rep twice, and those were for posts that made me laugh.

I searched the site for an explanation of the Rep and found nothing.

How do we know if they are positive or negative and how many points is a rep worth?

River, if the icon is red, it means they gave you a negative, if it's green, a positive, if its blue, it means their rep power is 0 and it doesnt matter. The worth of the rep depends on the poster's Rep power.

Really, this would make the most sense.
Someone neg-repped me 5 times in 3 minutes yesterday. I wanna know who this brat is. 5 bucks says it's a mod/admin, because it won't let regular users rep that much. 5 bucks also says it's Hammer.

it would have to be 5 different people....it doesn't let you give anyone rep more than once...if you try it says "you must spread rep around before giving it to so and so again"...I'm a mod and it won't let me give more than one to a person
