On TheNFLForums and TheNBAForums, on the portal home site, it shows most recent posts. Is there a way to put that on this board as well?

Yeah it's possible and has been considered. But given that I feel we already are a bit crowded with modules (and that module just shows what "New Posts" shows) I try to keep it all to a limit. In the next few months I'll probably work on custom module shell rewrites and if that clears up space, I'll look into it.
