    Horacio Ramirez picked up his 10th win of the season last night after limiting the Giants to one run over 7 2/3 innings tonight.
    Ramirez was 6-2 with a 3.55 ERA between June and July, but was rocked for eight runs over five innings in Cincinnati last time out. After tonight that outing looks more like a fluke than anything, but Ramirez's 45/48 K/BB ratio still gives us pause

    Mike Hampton (back) pitched five scoreless innings tonight for the Rookie GCL Braves.
    Two rehab starts should be enough for Hampton. He's likely to come off the disabled list and start Sunday.

    3-0 Bravos on 'druw's 36th HR of the year...Francouer 1-3 with 1 RBI so far. Smoltzie has drawn 2 walks in the game, along with Furcal.
