Infante needs just a few more plate appearances over the rest of the season to qualify for the batting title. And he'd win comfortably. This would be quite the story.

Something that I learned today watching the Fox game of the week is if Infante ends up like 10 AB's or how ever many AB's MLB can apply an ofer for that many AB's and if he is still ahead in Batting Average at that point he would be given the batting title. I did not know that.
