Not much positive from this game, except Raffy going 5 for 5 with a HR and a double, raising his average to .254

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Ben Sheets strained his right shoulder and left the game in the eighth inning of the Milwaukee Brewers' 3-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Friday night.

Chipper Jones was batting with two outs in the eighth and behind in the count 0-2 when Sheets bounced a pitch behind the batter. Sheets came off the mound in obvious pain, holding his right shoulder as Brewers manager Ned Yost and trainer Roger Caplinger rushed to his aid.

Sheets (10-9), who was replaced by Kane Davis, struck out eight, allowed five hits and left with a 3-0 lead.

Andruw Jones hit an RBI single off Davis before Dana Eveland retired pinch-hitter Julio Franco on an inning-ending groundout. Derrick Turnbow struck out three in the ninth while allowing two hits for his 29th save.

Carlos Lee hit a two-run homer for Milwaukee, which on Turn Back the Clock Night wore retro uniforms of the Milwaukee Braves, who moved to Atlanta in 1966.

Horacio Ramirez (10-8) gave up three runs -- two earned -- and five hits in seven innings for the NL East leader, who lost for the sixth time in 10 games.

Milwaukee went ahead in the first when Brady Clark led off with a single, stole second base, took third when catcher Johnny Estrada's throw went into center and scored on Lyle Overbay's groundout.

Overbay tripled leading off the fourth but was thrown out at the plate by Kelly Johnson when he tried to score on Lee's flyout to left. Overbay started the sixth with a single and Lee homered off the left-field foul pole, his 29th home run of the season.Game notes
Prior to the game, the Brewers activated Clark from the 15-day DL and optioned RHP Justin Lehr to Triple-A Nashville. Clark singled in his first at-bat and went 1-for-4. ... The Brewers honored former Milwaukee Braves great Johnny Logan before the game. ... Sheets' walk to Marcus Giles in the sixth inning was the first by the pitcher in 30 innings.

Tough loss, but is to be expected with Sheets on the mound. Whoreassio didn't do too bad.
