    Game Cardinals @ Braves

    (13-6) @ (9-9)

    4/27 Game 1: Joel Pineiro (3-0, 4.12 ERA) vs. Jair Jurrjens (2-1, 1.42 ERA)

    4/28 Game 2: Kyle Lohse (3-0, 2.42 ERA) vs. Jo-Jo Reyes (0-1, 7.94 ERA)

    4/29 Game 3: Adam Wainwright (2-0, 2.70 ERA) vs. Javier Vazquez (2-1, 2.63 ERA)

I was hoping that the Game 3 starter for the Cardinals would be posted by now but no such luck. I will post it when I find out. This series will be a tough one for the Braves. I haven't followed the Cardinals so far this season but they seem to be playing pretty well and the Braves are as always streaky at times.

Tomorrow nights game will be on ESPN at 7:00 pm EST.

Game 3 will most likely be Wainwright. He last pitched on the 24th, so going on the 29th would be normal rest for him.

It'd be lovely to stop going back to Jo Jo Reyes as a fill in.

Alright, thanks. I went ahead and plugged him in for Game 3.

I can't stand Reyes. I waiting for the day when the Braves finally realize he is not fit for the organization. They were built around pitching and apparently he slipped through the craps into a Braves uniform.

They really should try someone or something else, it's usually the same crap from Reyes every year and it's never good.

I would rather have Hanson out there instead of Reyes. Even an unproven AA prospect most likely would be better than Reyes.

I don't know if I throw Hanson out there in an act of desperation, but why not try something else at this point, you know what you'll get from Reyes 9 times out of 10 starts, and it's not pretty to watch.

No sense in losing one year of Hanson just to bring him up 3-4 weeks early. The Braves are in tough against the Cards regardless of who's pitching anyways.

They should bring back Steve Avery

    Re: Cardinals @ Braves

The Braves aren't winning anything this year, that's pretty clear.

    Re: Cardinals @ Braves

Why is that? I'm mean, they're not winning anything is Reyes is throwing every fifth day. Braves are 9-9 right now so what exactly is clear?

Braves are losing this game after half an inning 1-0 off a Duncan RBI single.

What are you talking about? Reyes has only pitched one game for them. They're still 9-8 in non-Jo-Jo Reyes games. The Braves are not contenders, they're pretenders.

What do you mean what am I talking about?? We're talking about Hanson being used over Reyes!! Stay with the conversation! And again, why are they pretenders? They have some of the best pitching in the division. It would be even better with Hanson.
