    Braves Braves @ Marlins

    (67-64) vs. (57-74)

    8/27 Game 1: Lance Cormier (0-4, 9.00 ERA) vs. Scott Olsen (9-11, 5.39 ERA)

    8/28 Game 2: John Smoltz (12-6, 3.01 ERA) vs. Rick VandenHurk (4-4, 6.95 ERA)

    8/29 Game 3: Buddy Carlyle (7-5, 5.00 ERA) vs. Dontrelle Willis (8-13, 4.96 ERA)

This is the time for the Braves to get into gear and make a push for the division or at least the wild card.

Cormier managed to win his 1st game of the season thanks to the offense with a 13-2 win.

Smoltz is now pitching Game 2 and Carlyle is pitching Game 3.
