It was freaking below 30 degrees last night. Terrible.

Today is a little warmer, I'm about to leave for the stadium in an hour. Hopefully, better result this time.

If it's not 80 degrees its still cold to me. Have fun out there. It's on Fox so I'm watching it right now.

Better game today. Still cold as ****, but it feels a little warmer when the Braves come out on top.

Nice game today...also didn't hurt that the Mets played like the Bad News Bears in the field at points. Smoltz is off to a decent start.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

His first win so far. Smoltz had a better game on Opening day against the Phillies but came up with a no decision instead.

Hopefully Davis will find his stride and put the Braves ahead early in the season.

The Braves beat the Mets today and win the series 2 games to 1. What a great way to start the season. The Braves are now 5-1 with the awful Nationals coming into town and than the Marlins.

Solid series all the way around. Despite the first game disaster the Braves played well, especially on the mound.

    Re: Mets @ Braves

I'm surprised a little that Davies didn't give up more than those 2 runs. However, I'm glad that he was able to get himself out of jams and keep them in the game.

Andruw Jones is still in a slump. He has been getting pitches to hit out of the park and he has either missed it all together or was right on top of it and fouled it straight back.

McCann, is still pretty hot for the start of the season. We all know the Braves made a great decision on locking him in for a 6yr deal.

Francoeur, is still swinging at balls and striking out however, like always he is still getting those key hits. Like the one to give the Braves a 3-2 lead in Game 3.

Mike Gonzalez, what can I say? He is not showing us what he can really do. So far he has been tagged for 7 hits, 2 earned runs with 2 K's and 4 walks in 4 games so far this season. I sure hope he finds what he is missing and get it all together soon.

It's only been 6 games so far but the Braves are back on top.
