Braves at the plate: Brayan Pena smacked a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning, giving Atlanta a 4-1 lead. The Braves scored a run in the first, when Edgar Renteria walked and scored on a groundout by Andruw Jones. They added another on a one-out walk to Corky Miller and a Kyle Davies single.

Phillies at the plate: Philadelphia scored one run in the fourth, when Chase Utley walked and scored on Pat Burrell's single. Jimmy Rollins and Karim Garcia also had hits for the Phillies. Greg Dobbs hit a three-run homer in the ninth.

Braves on the mound: Davies went six innings and allowed one run on three hits, with one walk and four strikeouts.

Phillies on the mound: J.A. Happ turned in a solid performance with five innings. He allowed two runs on three hits and three walks in five innings, while striking out six. Matt Smith surrendered a two-run homer to Pena.

Grapefruit League Records: Braves 12-8-2; Phillies 8-13.

Up next: In three Grapefruit League games, right-hander Adam Eaton has allowed six earned runs in 11 2/3 innings, for a 4.63 ERA, with one walk and seven strikeouts. The right-hander is slated to start the fifth game of the regular season, on April 8, though that can still be shifted. He's scheduled to oppose Cincinnati's Bronson Arroyo at 1:05 p.m. ET at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Fla., on Saturday.

Atlanta has split-squad games at 1:05 ET on Saturday, with Tim Hudson scheduled to face the Tigers in Lakeland, and Buddy Carlyle scheduled to start in Winter Haven against Cleveland.
