Thread: Whose on second?

    Braves Whose on second?

While the most likely candidate to take the field on opening day at second base is believed to be Kelly Johnson, is it likely that we could be wrong? Martin Prado stands a pretty good chance, Pete Orr seems very unlikely but lets not rule anything out. How about Aybar, could he play second every day? Or does anyone feel that with the recent sale of the Braves a trade for a leadoff hitting second baseman is in the near future. What do you think? Let me know.

I'd like to see how Kelly does before any trades are made. He deserves the opportunity I think.

Ideally, it'd be Kelly. However, with some of the things Bobby has done in the past (sticking with Reitsma as long as he did), I'd say it's Prado's job to lose.

Orr just is not an everyday player. I see Kelly getting the job at second but anything is possible.

uuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmm... I am not sure here Draven, but I think Dry1313 is pulling your leg and was trying to be funny. Sounds like Kelly Johnson has first crack at 2B.

Never heard that Abbott and Costello baseball joke:

WHo is on first, What is on second, How is on third. They are bantering each other. It is quite funny. If you haven't, then my prior post wouldn't be funny to you.

That's why I named my post what i did.LOL And I think that Orr will be lucky to even make the team. He should be traded.

That routine is the reason that Abbot and Costello were the only non-players or non-managers to be inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame. That was a classic routine.

Oh...you got one part of that wrong Brewers. Who's on First, What's on Second, I Don't Know is on Third. Today is Pitching, Tomorrow is catching.
