Baez isn't exactly crap I wouldn't think. The Dodgers did deal Edwin Jackson for the guy.

Angels won't move Santana unless it's for a real bat. And they shouldn't move him, he's better than Colon cancer.

Knowing Dry, I actually think he meant Johan Santana.

Betemit couldn't get is either Santana, not without Salty or Andrus going too.

I am just going to pretend Dry never posted n this thread as he came off pretty stupid-like.

Aybar's ceiling is higher than Betemit's ceiling, and if Baez gets it going, this is a fantastic deal for the Braves.

Just wait and watch. No way Aybar ever touches Betemit.

It's true. I'd figure you'd know how outrageous the PCL stat lines are for hitters, but I guess I'll need to go prove to you all.

    Look at these Leaders...

Mike Kinkade, Kerry Robinson, and Curtis Pride are all tops on the leaderboard. And their stats are off the charts.

In the entire PCL, there are 3 hitters with averages higher than .333.

Also, in the PCL, there are 5 guys with 20+ HRs, with 3 of them having exactly 20 and the highest having 24. Junior Spivey, major leaguer, is batting a robust .173 in the PCL in over 200 ABs.

.324, .318, and .302 are off the charts?

Robinson's .748 OPS is off the chart?

They're just AAAA players, it's not like they're horrible scrubs who'll never even get an at bat in the majors. Kinkade's got an 893 career OPS in the minors, Robinson's got a .751 career OPS in the minors, Curtis Pride has an .819 OPS in the minors, and the only one with significant time in the PCL over his career is Pride.

Come on man, you can do better than that.

There's a guy with 29 HRs in the other AAA league, the International League.

Doucheface, why don't you check out all the hitters, and not just ones qualifying for the Batting Title. There's a ton of people over .360 OBP, including Aybar.
