Yeah but that infielder can't pitch. We can live with Pena Jr. or Pete Orr at 3B, we really just need an overhaul in pitching. July has been a fairly good month for consistency, but I don't think any braves fan actually trusts the pen and never will this season.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the other LA's Aybar? Erick Aybar? I know he's a top spect. He was rumored to have been the centerpiece of a possible Carlos Lee deal until the Rangers nabbed him.
And I didn't know Betemit played "good" defense at third. I heard he sucked at D everywhere.
