    Braves Take that Mets! Braves sign Tyler Yates

    Braves signed RHP Tyler Yates to a minor league contract.
    Yates was with the Orioles in spring training, but he wasn't sufficiently recovered from rotator cuff surgery to compete for a job. The former Mets prospect might yet have some potential as a reliever.


    I love this signing. Yates was once one of the Mets' top specs, and still has good potential in my mind.
