    Liberty's motivation for a Braves deal has little to do with baseball and a lot to do with taxes.
    Tells you all you need to know.

    This is not good for baseball. Buying a sports team just so you can write them off as a tax break?

    This would highly piss me off also. Liberty better not buy the Braves. The Braves better not move either.

    I've heard that Liberty may buy the Braves from TW and then sell the franchise to Blank...I guess I wouldn't mind.
