PHOENIX -- The Diamondbacks will begin interviewing general manager candidates next week, with a goal of having the position filled by the beginning of November, managing partner Jeff Moorad said in an interview with MLB.com.

Melvin? Bob Melvin? He's their manager not general manager. Anyways, hopefully D-Backs get a good guy in place. The club needs a lot of help to clean up the mess created by the Garagiola clan.
