    Former Cy Young winner decent in outing against former team

    Russ Ortiz surrendered five runs and eight hits in six innings today in a no-decision against the Braves.
    That's probably the best the Diamondbacks could have asked for. Ortiz demonstrated some of his best command of the season and got through six innings in 98 pitches. He's still not recommended in NL-only leagues.

    Sure didn't. And his 20 win season was a by product of probably the best offense the braves have ever had.

    Ortiz looked like an ace in his 2nd and 4th year in the bigs, though. Sure thought he was better than Livan Hernandez.

    At least Livan is a better athlete.. fielding/hitting/throwing his stuff into the bleachers than Ortiz is.
