    Welcome to the forums.

But I can't tell if that was sarcasm. You guys did work Cincy today, but is there much to be excited about?

I don't follow the DBacks, at all.

Oh, and can the Cubs have Kelly Johnson please?

    Thanks.

Not sarcasm & thanks for the welcomes. Not sure of the etiquette or how things go here but hey I love baseball. Hope I can learn something from you all. How many ppl on here anyway?

Ian did tear it up on the mound which was good to see him prove himself as our new lead pitcher. I'm just excited because they won so big against the Reds who are having their best season open since '90 (last world series appearance for them as well).

Every team had their chance to get Johnson last August when he was placed on waivers.

Seriously? I don't remember hearing he was placed on waivers.

And at that time the Cubs had already made a deal with LA for DeWitt (fail).

Yeah I was kind of surprised no one claimed him but at the same time I can see why teams didn't. He would have cost a lot in terms of talent.

Welcome to the site jgw! Make sure to hop around on the forums as we are really a community who posts beyond our team's forum.

I'm a Reds fan and I must say that Kennedy impressed me. The Reds lineup has not been an easy one for opposing pitchers and he made short order of them.
