Did anyone notice that a major league record was set today? Both Felipe Lopez and Tony Clark hit homers from both sides of the plate on opening day. That was a first.
Seriously, the season did not start well for either starting pitcher. Webb was not letting his stuff work by itself and Cook missed too many spots.
