    Owings.....

    This guy is incredible. He just doubled in tonight's game against the Phillies to raise his average back up to .417. IMPRESSIVE!

    I know this is RANDOM, Did you hear about the Horse Ellis somthing that died at the Ken. Derby? I also heard that some people are trying to compare the use of steroids in baseball to steriods in horse racing?? What the heck are they talking about??

    Owings may want to switch to hitting full-time. Today he allowed 5 earned runs in 1/3 of an inning of relief. Granted, 3 of those runs came off a grand slam given up by Leo Rosales, who inherited Owings' bases loaded situation, but those still count.
