D'Backs Webb to miss start with elbow inflammation

    see here

Diamondbacks ace Brandon Webb (12-4) was scheduled to throw against future Hall of Famer Roger Clemens on Saturday in the second game of a three-game series against the Astros, but Webb has developed some inflammation in his right elbow and will miss the start.

"He's just got a little inflammation in what we call his flexor mass in his right elbow," said head athletic trainer Ken Crenshaw.
Hopefully, this won't be a major concern for the long-term.

He's been pitching alot of innings this year, perhaps that's the problem.

I doubt it...he's not a rookie...he pitched 180 innings his first season, then 208, then almost 230, now 167...he's done it before. I don't think there's a correlation between the injury and the number of innings pitched in this case.
