40-40 and 30-30 years in TPSL

This is a discussion on 40-40 and 30-30 years in TPSL within the Triple Play Sim League forum; Matt Kemp had an empty 20-20 year. I kind of don't have any idea why I re-signed him for 5 ...

Upton had 30/34 in 2010.
Rickie Weeks went 32/54, somehow, in 2011.

Cameron Maybin should definitely get 40/40 this year-- perhaps 40/50 ... he's stolen 50 or more bases each year of his career too. Good player.
you know, I always find Maybin interesting because he seems to play better than his ratings...or Mitchell below his ratings because the only rating (up until this year when Mitchell lost speed and power recently) that was better was Maybin's power.

#44 Cameron Maybin, Centerfield, 30 yrs, Detroit Tigers - Out of the Park Baseball Report

#76 Jermaine Mitchell, Centerfield, 32 yrs, Oakland Athletics - Out of the Park Baseball Report

Maybin: 8,9,10,7,5 and 9,9,9
Mitchell: 9,8,9,7,6 and 7,8,9

Maybin career OPS: .820
Mitchell career OPS: .784

Maybin having a career year this year with that .914 OPS, Mitchell last year with .846. I guess I'm just surprised that Maybin has outplayed Mitchell when Maybin only really had the advantage in power. Mitchell has a better career average (.284 vs. .265), they have the same career OBP, and Maybin has the better SLG (.475 vs. .439). Mitchell only had 20/50 years, with 25/56 being his best. Of course Mitchell costs much less than Maybin ($5.25 mil vs. $13 mil).

Has Maybin hit a lot of doubles and triples in his career? Maybe more than normal for the average player? He does play in a park that is pretty easy to hit a double or triple in, Comerica.

Nothing like what Granderson has done, atleast... on pace for 55 doubles again this year, which should lead the league.

and brown... rickie weeks' 2011 is amazing to me for some reason.
