Tied 1-1 in the top of the sixth. Cahill is just killing us right now. Five walks in five innings, a hit batter, and that's just the beginning. Tallet's pitched well thus far, albeit it's not that hard to outpitch Cahill right now.

A's won 8 - 5 last night. 2 - 2 in the bottom of the 12th right now. Cahill only went 5 1/3 giving up 5 hits, 5 walks, but only 2 earned runs. The bullpen has shut them down so far just like last night as Outman gave up all 5 runs then.

Rubber game of the series tomorrow, Braden vs Romero. Let's try to get this win and get back to .500 before heading off to the new Yankee Stadium.

It's currently a pitcher's duel right now. 1-0 in the top of the fifth.

I wonder of working with Arnsberg so much, because of his staying with the big league team, is making much of a difference.
We knew that he had talent, but working in the minor's, and minor league coaching just wasn't enough to get him to make the jump. There is a reason some of these guys are minor league coaches, yeah they are good, but not "that" good, if you see where I am getting at.
With Arnsberg, you are getting one of the better pitching coaches in the big leagues, and is able to find just that little extra. I am sure Brad gave some of the guys like Ricky, Purcey, and Richmond just a little bit extra this spring. Extra help early in the season can go a long way, and as a result we get to see Romero step up big time so far.
