Should be a top 10 pick in this year's draft:



I have my eye on this guy. I like him for the Reds at number 7, but I heard their head scout on the radio the other day say that they feel like the strength is in college position players in the first round. I don't know if that is a ploy to make others think they will be going that route or not. But if Matusz falls to number 7 and guys like Alvarez, Smoak, and the Beckhams are gone; I hope the Reds can make the grab.

Saying Brian Matusz is a top 10 pick is like saying Derrick Rose will be a top 5 pick in the NBA draft. Unless Matusz hurts his arm or hires Boras in the 11th hour, he's not going past the 5th pick. I know Devil Rays fans and Orioles fans don't want him just because he doesn't throw 95 mph but big deal.
