Thumbs Up Walk-off HR on an intentional walk

Not sure where to put this since it's something that happened in college baseball. *shrug* (if an admin/mod wants to move it to a more appropriate sub-forum, feel free)

Last weekend, Ole Miss third baseman Austin Anderson hit a walk-off homerun during an intentional walk!

That's almost as bad as when the Angels threw a wild pitch on an intentional walk last season and allowed the winning run to score

    Yeah.

This pitcher deserved to get rocked like that. What a lackadaisical effort for throwing an intentional ball.

I vaguely remember Miguel Cabrera hitting a walkoff single against the Orioles on an intentional ball. But this, this is ridiculous. Complete failure by the pitcher.

Instead of intentional walks they should just plunk the batter in the butt and let him take his base

Or how about this, remove intentional walks from the game.

I like the strategy of them so they should stay, but I've always been a proponent of stopping the practice of going thorough the motions and being able to just signal something that states the intent and the batter gets the base.

I mean it's cool when something like this happens but that's very rare.

Isn't there a rule if that if you take too long to pitch, it's called a ball? Just stall on the damn mound. I know it'll piss the umpire off, but fuck him.
