Yes, he did and even his team mates are afraid to drive with him.

It would be nice for the Rays to pick up a game before the Sox come back into town. Rays still chasing their 1,000th win for the franchise.

    Today’s Match ups

Derek Holland threw 7 scoreless innings for a win over the Sox on Friday. He is 7-1 with a 2.76 ERA in his last 11 games. He leads the ML in run support.

David Price started strong against the Orioles on Friday, but had a meltdown in the 7th that lead to 3 runs that the offense couldn’t overcome. He is 4-8 at the Trop this season.

    Tidbits

Johnny Damon is two stolen bases shy of becoming the ninth player with at least 200 home runs and 400 stolen bases.

Evan Longoria has 382 RBIs in his first four Major League seasons. Only Pinky Whitney (409) and Eddie Mathews (397) knocked in more runs in their first four seasons at third base.

The Rangers lead the season series against the Rays, 5-3. Tampa Bay has still won seven of the last 12 regular-season games against Texas.

Have I mentioned how much I love Desmond Jennings?!??!

First walk off homer in extra innings to take the series from the Rangers and give the Rays their 1,000th win.

Watched the replay since I was at work during the game. Guyer got his second ML homer and of course the walk off from Jennings. They were especially rough on him in the scrum at home plate when he emerged his belt was hanging off and his pants were partly down. Then of course during the interview he got the pie in face.

Price didn’t get a decision but he joined Kaz and Big Game Shields in the 200 strike out list for the Rays. Price and Shields became the 4th pair of teammates to reach 200 in the past 20 years.
